As a small museum we rely heavily on the goodwill and time of volunteers to run. Here at Ellisland we are lucky to have a dedicated team who help with all aspects of the site including maintenance, front of house, curatorial and the education programme. On Sunday the 26th of November we were able to express our gratitude by hosting a festive lunch in the Tam o Shanter barn built by Burns. Over 20 people attended and were served an array of homemade food prepared by the Ellisland staff team. This is just a small way of showing our thanks to the people who are the backbone of Ellisland and allow the site to function.
