A unique opportunity has arisen to shape how visitors experience Ellisland Museum and Farm. We are tendering an Interpretation Plan as part of our project Saving the Home of Auld Lang Syne. Funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, Museums Galleries Scotland and South of Scotland Enterprise, the Interpretation Plan will look at how best to engage audiences, create an immersive experience in the 1788 farmhouse built by Burns and help audiences enjoy the landscape which inspired the poet. The contract is worth up to £25k plus VAT and is offered via an open, competitive tendering process.
