As a voluntary body we rely on our members to carry out many
of the day to day maintenance tasks at Ellisland Farm. We rely
very heavily on a small band of dedicated workers. They do a
fantastic job but they need more hands to help. This season
they have repointed and painted the outside walls. We could
not have employed contractors as we simply could not have paid
them.
We have ambitious plans to expand visitor facilities but we
need money, as the Ellisland Trustees have only limited funds
and back us as far as they can.
